Problem-Solving in Microsoft Access & Excel
In most cases, you can use both programs, using each program for the purpose that best suits it. In general, Access is better for managing data: it helps you organize it, is easy to search, and is available to multiple users at the same time. Excel is generally better for analyzing data: performing complex calculations, exploring possible outcomes, and producing high-quality charts. If you use Access to store your data and Excel to analyze it, you can benefit from both programs.
